Hello, extended Sweet Butter family! Welcome to our new and improved website! Same coziness, just updated :)
My mom, Leslie, opened Sweet Butter 4.5 years ago and she still can't believe how many guests have been welcomed into her second home. Fun facts: the SB Scramble and Waffle recipes she would make exclusively on Christmas morning and other very special occasions, the Chocolate Chip Scones were my favorite afternoon snack in elementary school (pro tip: they are best heated up with a side of Butter & Jam), and I am the 'Emma' of Emma's Avocado Toast (put an egg on it!).
The SB Blog has been on hiatus for quite some time, as sadly my mom has had to take a step back for medical reasons (but they do say food is the best medicine, and we all have our MDs in that). Sweet Butter was and will always be a family restaurant, our wrought iron gates an extension of our homes. I have since stepped into fill in my mom's shoes (read: kitchen clogs and seasonally appropriate colorful apron), and I am thrilled and honored to continue what she started.
